The Filipino American Christian Church
(FACC) in St. Louis
FACC is a group of Christian believers of different ethnic
backgrounds primarily Filipinos and Filipino-Americans residing in St.
Louis and its neighboring areas. In 1990, its founding pastor, Rev.
Edwin Moncada led a small group of Filipino and Filipino-American
Christians leading to the formation of the first Filipino Baptist
mission in the St. Louis county area and in the State of Missouri.
Last October 4, 2009, Rev. Ramon Agustin Revilla was installed as
full-time pastor of FACC. Pastor Revilla and his family were called to
serve and lead FACC in sharing the gospel to the Filipino and Filipino
American communities in St. Louis. Before joining FACC, Pastor Revilla
served at Bergin Baptist Church in New Jersey.
Prior to the appointment of Pastor Revilla, for almost two years,
FACC was blessed with the leadership of retired Pastor Joe Spicer as
interim pastor. Pastor Joe and his wife, Bonney faithfully served and
left a living testimony on how to live out a Christian life. They were
loved by the children and the congregation for their sincerity, genuine
character, and kindness. The Spicers through these years have immersed
and adapted the Filipino culture.
FACC is in partnership with South County Baptist Church supporting
and providing a venue to conduct worship services, bible studies and
fellowship at 12995 Tesson Ferry, St. Louis, Missouri 63128, a quarter
mile west of Interstate 270.
OUR BELIEF[top]
We, at FACC, believe that the Holy Bible was
written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God’s revelation
of Himself to man. The Holy Scriptures reveal the principles by which God
judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the
true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all
human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. The
criterion by which the Bible is to be interpreted is in Christ Jesus.
FACC believes that there is one and only
living true God. We believe God’s infinite holiness and all other
perfections. The eternal God reveals himself to us as Father, Son and the
Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes but without division of
nature, essence or being.
We believe that salvation involves the
redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus
Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal
redemption for the believer.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT[top]
Every member of the Filipino American Christian Church
is empowered by the
Holy Spirit and transformed to a new creation in Christ, charged to fulfill the Great Commission of evangelizing,
baptizing, and
educating with the Gospel --- all men, women and children regardless of race
or origin, and to carry out this great task to the Filipino and
Filipino-American communities in St. Louis, its neighboring areas and throughout the
nations. OUR GOALS[top]

Christ Jesus.
